De internationale koorwereld viert in het najaar van 2021 de 11e editie van ’s werelds grootste internationale koorwedstrijd – met de gezondheid, het welzijn en de veiligheid van alle deelnemers en bezoekers als topprioriteit<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De World Choir Games worden om de twee jaar<\/strong> georganiseerd door Interkultur<\/a>. In 2018 vonden ze plaats in Zuid-Afrika. In 2022 vinden ze plaats in Zuid-Korea. Vlaanderen heeft de organisatie gewonnen van de editie gepland voor juli 2020, en uitgesteld naar juli en november 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vanwege de internationale ambitie van het koor hebben we Sing Out twee jaar geleden aangemeld voor het evenement. Het was ook een kans voor ons om onze waarden te delen met koren van over de hele wereld. Door de pandemische context zal deze editie helaas slechts 72 koren<\/strong> samenbrengen, waaronder 52 Belgische koren. Toch zijn 17 Europese landen vertegenwoordigd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De World Choir Games zijn een competitie<\/strong>, met een internationale ranking. De reeds gerangschikte koren nemen het tegen elkaar op in de Champions Competitie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Omdat dit onze eerste deelname is, doen we mee aan de Open Competitie. Wat de uitkomst voor ons ook is, het belangrijkste is om mee te doen!De koren zijn onderverdeeld in categorie\u00ebn (kinderkoren, volkskoren, gospelkoren, enz.). Wij nemen deel in de categorie \u201cjazz- en popkoren\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
