The International Day of Transgender Visibility is an annual event held on 31 March to celebrate transgender people and raise awareness of the discrimination they face around the world.
On this day, we will create a flashmob and sing “I am her”, by trans artist Shea Diamond. The song is a powerful anthem calling for respect for transgender people and their identity.
Our performance will be broadcasted via Facebook Live. We’ll share a nice video on our socials afterwards.
As part of our performance, we are partnering with Genres Pluriels. They will carry trans flags and raise awareness amongst the public about trans community issues and demands – by distributing leaflets.
This event is organized with the support of RainbowHouse Brussels and Cocof (project Rainbow Visibilities).
