Last weekend, the choir enjoyed its annual weekend getaway at the Domaine de Mambaye in Spa. This was our chance to progress with the repertoire for our upcoming show “School’s out” and to get to know each other even better.
Sing Out Brussels! started rehearsing again on Wednesday 7 September. This season, our choir has over 70 members, including about 20 new faces. Here is the welcome speech given at the start of the new season.
Our rehearsals resume on September 7 and we will welcome a dozen new members, who have successfully passed the milestone of our auditions. A crucial process. Our president Christophe tells how he experienced it very intensely and emotionally.
After two and a half years without concerts, we finally found our audience. The experience that we have all shared over the past two years has given added meaning to this show. Because if we missed the public, the dance, the party and the glitter too!
The LGBTQI+ choir Sing Out Brussels! (The Fabulous Queer Choir) presents its 3rd music video, “In these heels”, on the occasion of the world day against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia, and as part of Belgian Pride.
Sing Out Brussels! took part in the World Choir Games in Antwerp on October 31st. Despite this being our first participation in a contest, our choir won the silver medal in the “Jazz & Pop choirs” category!
Sing Out Brussels! started its new school year on Wednesday September 1st, and our choir members were probably just as excited as children on their first school day.
