Last Saturday, March 7th, the Brussels queer community witnessed a milestone moment. “Brussels in Harmony” was far more than a concert—it was a powerful demonstration of unity and a vibrant celebration of our city’s diverse voices.
An evening at La Tricoterie
On 30 January, Sing Out Brussels! took over the cultural centre La Tricoterie completely. In a packed Salle des Arches we performed seven songs, preceded by a tantalising showcase and rounded off with a thunderous afterparty.
Getting together without singing delights us too
The start of this season has been very busy: the studio recording of Let Your Heart Be Heard, filming the music video, a rehearsal weekend in Hastière, La Nuit Positive, Christmas concerts… not to mention the weekly rehearsals and the Joy Team meetings. No time to sit still!
Sing Out Brussels! at the heart of academic research on LGBTQI+ choirs
At a conference held at Bozar in November, Israeli researcher Yonatan Volfin presented a case study on our choir. This presentation is part of his in-depth research on the characteristics of LGBTQI+ choirs and their role in strengthening the sense of belonging.

It’s been a busy time for your favourite fabulous queer choir! Over the past months, we’ve been working hard on our new repertoire: during three (or actually four) performances spread across two weekends, you could finally enjoy the results.

What happens when a choir goes away for the weekend? Singing, singing and more singing? Bingo! But that’s not all. Sing Out’s annual weekend was an intense trip that brought the group closer together and prepared the choir for the first events of the season.
