Our “School’s Out!” show will relive these journeys through song and testimony, as our singers return to secondary school – from nervous beginnings, through finding their places (or not) in school life, to graduating and looking back on the legacies of such formative years. More than anything, they just wanted to fit in and be accepted.
The show is based on our singers’ own stories and testimonies. We will sing songs linked to growing up and schooldays, from an LGBTQI+ perspective: first times, rebellion, friendship, dreams, finding yourself, coming out, social expectations, and so much more… With this show, we want you to learn about the LGBTQI+ experience of school in a fun, exciting and, we hope, engaging way.
