It’s become a Christmas tradition for our choir. We sing a few songs during the Winter Vox festival organised as part of the Winter Wonders in Brussels.
As part of the month-long Winter Wonders in the historic centre of Brussels, the Winter Vox festival features Brussels choirs every Saturday and Sunday, with concerts in Place Sainte-Catherine, near the Tour Noire.
This concert is a tradition for Sing Out Brussels! It gives us a chance to get together one last time before the festive season, sing a few Christmas songs and share a glass of mulled wine with the singers and our audience. This year, it was also the first concert for several choristers who have been with the group since the beginning of November!
A few days after the concert, we gathered at Elzenhof, the cultural centre where we rehearse every Wednesday, for a Christmas potluck. We shared some delicious food, sang a few Christmas songs and celebrated with karaoke.
Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, whether you love Christmas or not, we wish you the chance to experience this time of year with the people you care about, as we were lucky enough to do at these events. Have yourself a merry little Christmas!
