In August 2024, our choir will take part in the Hand in Hand festival of LGBTQI+ choirs from the UK and Ireland. This biennial event will also be an opportunity to promote the Various Voices festival that we are organising in 2026 in Brussels.
Thanks to contacts made at the European LGBTQI+ Choir Festival Various Voices in Bologna in June 2023, Sing Out Brussels! has been invited to take part in the regional Hand in Hand festival, organised since 2013 by choirs from the UK and Ireland. Around fifty choirs take part in this festival. Sing Out Brussels! is the only continental choir taking part.
The festival will of course be an opportunity to present a few concerts, take part in musical workshops, catch up with choir members we already know and meet new ones. But we’ll also be taking the opportunity to promote the European festival of LGBTQI+ choirs Various Voices, which we’re organising in Brussels in 2026!
