On Tuesday May 21, Sing Out Brussels! is taking part with artist Biche de ville in an LGBTQIA+ rights awareness evening organized by the commune of Woluwé-Saint-Pierre, on the initiative of the Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Aldermen.
On the programme:
- From 7pm (with access to the bar), a number of associations will be setting up their own stands to present the activities they carry out on a daily basis to promote the rights of LGBTQIA+ communities;
- At 8pm, the ‘Sing Out Brussels’ choir will perform, whose members reflect the diversity of LGBTQIA+ people in Brussels, with over 20 different nationalities and 15 languages spoken. This choir will be offering us a unique musical experience, covering French and international songs celebrating freedom, openness and respect. In short, this sparkling show will allow us to unite our hearts and voices to celebrate interculturality and better living together. The choir will then give way to a poetic and incisive slam performance by Belgian artist Biche de Ville, who will reveal her world, her thoughts and her emotions.
