What happens when a choir goes away for the weekend? Singing, singing and more singing? Bingo! But that’s not all. Sing Out’s annual weekend was an intense trip that brought the group closer together and prepared the choir for the first events of the season.

Our choir kicked off its eighth season with a studio recording and video shoot for the anthem of the Various Voices Brussels 2026 festival. It was an intense weekend that also served as a great team-building exercise for the singers who recently joined Sing Out!
Preparing for the future of our choir: our strategic plan under review
It often comes as a surprise to people who discover how our choir operates: we have a strategic plan, which sounds very ‘corporate’. However, it is essential. Many associations encounter problems because their objectives are unclear or because their members do not share the same vision for the project.

At the invitation of Polish choir Voces Gaudii, we travelled to Warsaw to perform two concerts and take part in Pride. A highlight in one of Europe’s least progressive countries when it comes to LGBTQI+ rights.
