This weekend was unique, not only because of our special guest but also because we dedicated more time to building our community.

After our sold-out show in June, the next step of our School’s Out project is to professionally record our songs this October, but we need your help to make it happen!

The members of Sing Out Brussels! met at a general meeting on 20 September and elected a new team to lead the non-profit association. The Board is younger, more diverse and full of energy to develop new projects.

Sing Out Brussels! resumed its activities at the beginning of September. The first two rehearsals were devoted to reconnecting on a human and musical level after a two-month break.

A team from Vews followed our choir behind the scenes as it prepared for the “School’s out” show in June 2023.

From 14 to 18 June 2023, Sing Out Brussels! took part in the European LGBTQI+ Choir Festival Various Voices in Bologna (Italy). Our choir will host this event in Brussels in 2026.

On 10 June 2023, Sing Out Brussels! presented its new show, a mix of songs and testimonials about our LGBTQI+ experiences in schools. A call for more inclusive schools that touched the audience.

Busy agenda for our choir during Pride week. A week full of firsts (concert on the Grand-Place of Brussels and on the main stage of Pride). Many strong emotions shared with our public!
