Sing for Life is a charity concert organised by Tapalanote (the choir of Brussels Gay Sport ). For the first time, Brussels two other LGBTQI+ choirs took part in the event, which gathered 120 singers for a concert of the three headline acts.

Several of our members have been trained in ‘systemic consensing’, a collective decision-making method based on non-violent communication. The aim is to improve our way of working and ensure that every concern is heard.

Last weekend, the choir enjoyed its annual weekend getaway at the Domaine de Mambaye in Spa. This was our chance to progress with the repertoire for our upcoming show “School’s out” and to get to know each other even better.

Sing Out Brussels! sang on September 19 for the opening of this new feminist and queer festival in Brussels.

Sing Out Brussels! started rehearsing again on Wednesday 7 September. This season, our choir has over 70 members, including about 20 new faces. Here is the welcome speech given at the start of the new season.
